The Legacy
The vision of an earphone originates from 2010. There were numerous reasons, the most conveying was the frustration of the price vs. performance at the time.
It was there and then we leaped out to a new challenging market. With all the knowledge and experience built within the technology company Jenving Technology, world-renowned for its HiFi cables under the brand SUPRA Cables, there were all the conditions to succeed. With experience from joint co-operations with clients like the Swedish and the American Air Force, Koenigsegg Automotive and several worldwide recording studios we were confident we could develop, produce and supply top notch products. It was simply time for an evolutionary next step into the market of earphones.
2014 became synonymously to the launch of our block buster earphone NiTRO. The magazine “Ljud & Bild” awarded it to” Earphone of the Year”. The gizmo site “M3” awarded it as ” Best Buy” in the Premium category. After this ground breaking launch, we have extended the product portfolio by launching additional, awarded earphones and formed a new company, Sound by Sweden AB.
New Generation of Sound
Today we include a cluster of innovators and engineers with roots from Jenving Technology and Supra Cables. Technical know-how and experience from the audio industry are mixed with new and innovative technologies, resulting in absolute world class products. Unique materials, technically anchored design and innovative technology permeate the entire production chain, from idea to finished product. We have chosen to call this concept for “New Generation of Sound”.
Quality and performance are the most important cornerstones in our product development process and every new project is based on these. What separates Sound by Sweden and Supra from many others in the audio industry is that we develop and produce our products ourselves. This way, we can quality-assure each step in the process and ensure that the end result corresponds to the high demands set by our end users. Customers such as the Swedish and the American air forces are proof that we have succeeded.
